One of the Directors Nigel Smith recently organised another Sportsman Dinner in aid of Witchford Colts Football Club and EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices). It was another fantastically supported event with £9800 raised. The guests this year was ex Wales, Arsenal, West Ham and Celtic Legend John Hartson. He entertained the crowd with tales from his football days as well as how he overcome cancer and the setting up of the John Hartson Foundation to help make awareness in the future. Also there was ex England & Ipswich & Rangers Captain Terry Butcher who provided many stores from the days including Sir Bobby Robson and Gazza to name a few.
The support was overwhelming from everyone that attended and all the businesses that provided items for the charity Auction and Raffle as well as sponsorship during the event.
